Grand Opening of Xana Beach Club with Attica

Kicking off the grand opening of Xana Beach Club with Attica, the crème de la crème of Phuket along with some jetsetters from Bangkok, Singapore, Australia, and the UK partied from sunset then well into the night. More than 1,000 guests enjoyed the massive 500-square-metre alfresco, beach-adjacent club. Club owner and founder of Q Bar Bangkok, David Jacobson, was among the VIP crowd, while local models and celebrities also were present to celebrate the unveiling. Before the end of the night, we would meet a dashing professional football player from London with an Adonis-like body we’ll be dreaming about for days.

Performances included angelic dancers dressed in ice-white swinging over the pool deck. Not so angelic, Xana Girl Vasithy, an urban dancer from Belgium, made heads turn and jaws drop when she took the stage with an energetic display of raw talent and sexual allure. There's something exhilarating about a solo performer who has the power to captivate an entire party, delivering moves that the crowd fell in love with as she danced to the fierce beats of Xana’s resident DJ Frank Richards, then later to the musical highlight of the night, DJ Paul Harris of famed Dirty Vegas. Xana Beach Club is definitely bringing a touch of world-class finesse to the Phuket clubbing scene. We felt ultra-glamorous at the sleek lounge tables around the pool deck overlooking the rest of the party. There was a cool breeze that kept whipping our hair around and even lifted some skirts throughout the night, but we were too fabulous to care as we sipped on exotic cocktails and mingled with the elite party people.
