Suki Rod Ka Bah (Suki Truck)
Keep on truckin’ to Charoenkrung Road for a mobile restaurant experience.
I love the food truck concept, which has grown in popularity in the US. But we do have our own version here in Bangkok as well. Although ours are a far cry from those elaborate and well-organised trucks servicing American pedestrians, I really suggest you give the Suki Ka Bah truck a try before passing judgement.
Suki Rod Ka Bah offers quite a number of dishes including suki soup; dried, roasted pork rice; and fried noodles. My favourite is pad nam mun hoi with any meat combination and cabbage, onion, freshly chopped green chilies and oyster sauce. Top it with a fried egg and a great dish is complete. Dishes start at 30 baht and the owner is very generous with the serving size.
Suki Rod Ka Bah is located at Charoenkrung Road Soi 27.
Opening hours: 5.30pm – midnight, daily.
