A fitness and yoga enthusiast, Warin Trakulsuk joined the Asian Fitness Convention as a delegate mainly for the yoga classes. As first-timer, she was happy with the facilities and the organization, if a little disappointed at the lack of yoga equipment on exhibition. The classes themselves she found refreshing, and named the ones led by Nikki Durant as her favourites.

A fitness and yoga enthusiast, Warin Trakulsuk joined the Asian Fitness Convention as a delegate mainly for the yoga classes. As first-timer, she was happy with the facilities and the organization, if a little disappointed at the lack of yoga equipment on exhibition. The classes themselves she found refreshing, and named the ones led by Nikki Durant as her favourites.

‘Nikki showed us how to do a posture and let us try it out,’ she said. ‘I used to have problems doing the headstand, but following her instructions, I could finally nailed it. I wish the classes had been longer, though. An hour simply wasn’t enough; an hour and a half, I think, would be perfect.’

A full-time homemaker, Warin has found the solution to long-standing health problems and become calmer and less irritable through this practice.

‘I’ve tried other fitness training methods, such as body pump, aerobics and spinning, and enjoyed them all. But yoga is the safest and something I can do regularly and long-term. And it lets you find your own way, which really strikes a chord with me,’ she concluded.
